The Museum of Natural History Berlin presents the special exhibition „Darwin — Reise zur Erkenntnis” in its temporary exhibit hall as their contribution to the International Darwin Year 2009.

The visitor joins Darwin on his five-year journey around the world on the MS. Beagle. Adventures, discoveries and experiences are being told by Darwin and his fellow companions themselves. As one wanders the hull of the ship, he discovers plants, animals and fossils that were collected and categorized by Darwin.

TheGreenEyl and Denise Faust created the entire Media conception and content for the show including animations and videos. A central piece is the table of Mr. Darwin’s cabin with the historic map of the MS. Beagle’s journey. By Following the route with your finger, you can discover experiences along the way that pop up as quotes taken out of Darwin’s diary.
