The Universal Music Data Sculptures are three installations in the headquarters of Universal Music in Berlin dealing with text, numbers, imagery and objects.

The typographic friezes are three custom-built, 8m long horizontal flip dot signs meandering through the lobby. They constantly display live tweets by artists from the Universal Music roster. The animated signs create an ambient presence of the live data feed, with the subtle sound of flipdots changing in the background.
The flip-dot friezes are complemented by a horizontal panel of 8 square screens showing live data about streaming numbers, charts and artists’ instagram posts.
