Connective Field is an exploration of the potential of the canopy of the Manetti Shrem Museum. Under the porous surface of the aluminum plate, a mysterious sequence of drawings are activated by the movement and perspective of the viewer looking through the louvers. Different representations of activities are taken from the expertise developed at the university and, like in the real life museum plaza, happen mid-air, suspended in the space between the ground and the canopy.⁠

Connective Field erkundet das visuelle Potenzial der Dachstruktur des Manetti Shrem Museums. Unter der durchlässigen Aluminiumstruktur erscheint eine geheimnisvolle Sequenz von Zeichnungen, die von Bewegungen und Perspektiven der Betrachter*innen, die durch die Lamellen schauen, aktiviert wird.Die verschiedenen Darstellungen von Aktivitäten entstammen dem an der Universität entwickelten Wissen und spielen sich, wie auf dem realen Museumsplatz, in der Luft ab, im Raum zwischen Boden und Vordach.

The Zone is the second installation for the opening of the Manetti Shrem Museum. A quote from Tarkovsky's Stalker is printed on the wall with light-reactive ink. Three flashlights turn on, one after another. With each exposure a different section of the text is illuminated, clearly visible for a short period of time, only to fade away again. After the text fades away the process begins again, in an endless cycle.

The Zone ist eine zweite Installation zur Eröffnung des Manetti Shrem Museums. Ein Zitat aus Tarkowskis Stalker ist mit lichtreaktiver Tinte auf die Wand gedruckt. Drei Spots schalten sich nacheinander ein. Bei jeder Belichtung wird ein anderer Teil des Textes beleuchtet und wird für kurze Zeit deutlich sichtbar, um dann wieder zu verblassen. Wenn der Text verblasst ist, beginnt der Prozess erneut, in einem endlosen Kreislauf.
